About this demo
Dear Travellers is an idea in development: a marketplace where photographers publish their own Moments, and travellers book the one that feels like them.
What's real and what isn't
Nothing on this site can be booked. The calendars, booking requests and messages show how things might work, but nothing is checked, sent, stored or charged. The available dates are samples.
The six photographers are fictional. Their Moments, prices, session details, ratings and reviews were written to show the idea, and are labelled as samples wherever they appear.
All photos and portraits are placeholders by other photographers, used under the Unsplash licence. Most weren't taken at the places described. They'll be replaced with work from real photographers, with their permission.
How reviews would work
The proposed review flow would let travellers review after completing a booking and receiving their gallery. They'd rate the session overall and on four things: the photos, feeling at ease, communication, and whether everything was as described.
For photographers
- A profile that's yours: your story, what makes you different, your work
- Your own Moments, built around your concept, place, timing and style
- Booking requests from travellers who chose you for your style
